Art of the unconventional

The materials I use to do my art are generally unconventional.Materials such as charcoal(I make my own)chalkpastels graphite ink and even paint.Erasers are for drawing,bird feathers for making marks with ink,cieling white instead of gesso for sealing and texturing drawing surfaces,casting plaster can be etched ,sealed(bondcrete)and painted,fired clay a wonderful drawing surface as is smooth polished concrete,wood reveals wonderful lines when drawn on with graphite.

For me there are no rules for materials or surfaces.But very strict rules for drawing there is line and form and the the nude figure,my subject matter and reason for drawing,life movement and expression
